Dunny demands improvement

Boss says Poachers deserved nothing against Cogenhoe

Ian Dunn has called on his players to cut out errors ahead of a tough-looking derby against Spalding United.

Boston Town side slipped to a disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Cogenhoe in their opening league game on Saturday.

The Poachers need to improved tomorrow (Tues, August 13) when they entertain the Tulips, who are among the UCL title favourites.

Joint manager Dunn told the Boston Standard: “We made three basic errors for the goals that you can’t afford to make at this level.

“That performance was simply not good enough.

“You get out what you put in and we got exactly what we deserved - nothing.”
