Goodhand `will bring quality`

But Alec Robinson leaves after just one appearance

Paul Goodhand will bring added quality to Boston Town's midfield, according to joint boss Ian Dunn.

The club's all-time second highest goalscorer has made two substitute appearances since re-signing.

Dunn says Goody might not be able to play in every game because of other commitments.

He told the Boston Standard: “He brings a lot of quality to the team. Paul loves the club and was happy to come back."

Dunn said he had always been particularly impressed by Goodhand's ability as a dead-ball specialist.

“The amount of times I’ve played against him and he’s just taken a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and picked out a corner," he said.

“He’s got a great delivery.”

However, the Poachers' other new signing Alec Robinson has left for Bourne after only one appearance.
