Dunn sees red over sendings off

Joint boss criticises refereeing decisions

Ian Dunn has hit out at the latest two red cards received by his players.

The Poachers joint manager says Nick Jackson and Ollie Pinner were both wrongly given their marching orders.

Pinner was sent off against Wellingborough a fortnight ago while Jackson followed suit last week against AFC Kempston Rovers - both were matches Boston lost narrowly.

Dunn said Pinner's decision was "a joke".

He told the Boston Standard: "He jumped up for a ball and his arm was straight, he didn’t elbow anybody."

And his verdict on Jackson's red card was just as damning: "It’s hard to take because it wasn’t a red card, it was a good tackle."
