Boston Town 0, Yaxley 4

Nathan Collins tastes defeat in first game in charge

The scoreline was frustrating but Town showed plenty to encourage new manager Nathan Collins - especially after the break.

Goodhand, Brown and Wilson all went close and Ford had a loud penalty claim waved away. Yaxley also had the rub of the green in thre first half when it appeared their first goal was going to be disallowed for offisde, only for the linesman's flag to be overruled.

Here's how the action unfolded:

0-4 - Having hardly threatened in the second half, Yaxley sneak an undeserved fourth at the death.

89 mins - Another Boston effort flashes just over the bar - this time a close range header.

75 mins - And now a big penalty shout turned down as Ford goes over in the box. When you're struggling, nothing goes for you.

72 mins - Dane Harper replaces Liam Bull.

69 minutes - Still 0-3 but this scoreline is harsh on Boston -  now Goodhand has a shot tipped over by Yaxley keeper Butcher.  Brown, who replaced Hobson at the interval, and Wilson have also come close since the break.

Half-time - The Poachers trailing 3-0 and feeling aggrieved at getting the rough end of some refereeing decisions. As well as allowing Yaxley's contentious first goal, the referee ruled out an Ollie Pinner effort he claimed had crossed the line.

0-3 - Another half to forget for the Poachers as they go a further goal down after 26 minutes.

0-2 - A second controversial goal after 12 minutes.

0-1 - Another poor start as Yaxley take the lead after just 4 minutes in controversial circumstances. The linesman flags for offside but is overruled.

Team news - New boss Nathan Collins rings the changes, bringing in new keeper Miles Fenty plus Tom Hobson up front. Two more new faces are on the benchh in Dane Harper and Nick Brown.

Town: Fenty, Lambley, Jackson, Wilson, Wood, Pinner, Bull, Goodhand, Ford, Hobson, Borbely. Subs: Nuttell, Harper, Brown, Stainfield
