It took Nathan the best part of two years to finally get on the scoresheet - his first goal for the Poachers was on 27 Aug 2005 and a 4-2 defeat at Long Eaton in the FA Cup Preliminary Round.

Sunderland-born Andy Liddle was most recently charge at Northern Counties East League (NCEL) side Appledby-Frodingham.

Prior to that, he had three extremely successful seasons in charge of Cleethorpes Town.

In that time he led their meteoric rise from the lower reaches of the Lincs League to a fourth place finish in their first season on NCEL.

Andy guided Cleethorpes win the Supplementary Cup in 2010-2011 and then a league and cup double in the Lincs League the following year, going 42 matches unbeaten in the process.

Cleethorpes officials were full of praise for Andy when he left the club in amicable circumstances.

Vice chairman David Mann said: "Andy's commitment and desire for Cleethorpes Town Football Club was nothing short of amazing. We wish him best in his future endeavours."
