It`s Spalding yet again!

Poachers to face rematch against the team who beat them 12-0

Boston Town will face Spalding United for a FOURTH time this season.

The Lincs rivals will clash again in the last 16 of the United Counties League Cup after the Tulips thrashed Peterborough Northern Star in the 1st Round 5-0 tonight.

The Poachers will be desperate to regain some pride after losing three times to Spalding already this season.

They won 3-0 at Tattershall Road in both the league and the Lincs Senior Trophy.

But the biggest talking point was the 12-0 humbling at the Sir Halley Stewart Field in the league which led to the departure of joint managers Matt Hocking and Ian Dunn.

No date has yet been fixed for the league cup tie, which will again take place at the Sir Halley Stewart Field. The winners of that game will entertain Potton or Woodford in the quarter-finals.

Spalding have won all of their first 15 league games this season, a UCL record.
