Date fixed for Tulips clash

Poachers aim to knock leaders out of league cup

Boston Town's latest clash with high-flying Spalding United has been set for Tuesday, 21 January.

The Poachers have had a miserable time lately against the Tulips.

It was their 12-0 hunbling in October that led to the departure of joint managers Matt Hocking and Ian Dunn.

Since then, new boss Nathan Collins has brought in fresh faces and galvanised a new team spirit.

Town will be eager to make amends against Spalding after a dismal sequences of results against their county rivals. Their last five encounters have finished 0-12, 0-3, 0-3, 0-4 and 0-5 - an astonishing agreggate of 0-27!

The league cup tie will take place at the Halley Stewart, kick off 7.45pm.
