Collins snaps up three new players

Trio of exciting signings arrive at DWB Stadium

Nathan Collins has boosted his squad for 2014-15 with three new arrivals to get Boston Town fans licking their lips.

He's signed former Boston United midfielder Liam Green, Brigg Town hotshot Jamie Coulson and Cleethorpes Town defender Tim Lowe.

Collins says all of last season's squad have also agreed to stay on with the Poachers apart from record-breaking midfielder Paul Goodhand, who's decided to hang up his boots.

Green, 28, was a regular for the Pilgrims in the 2007-08 season and previously played in League One for Doncaster Rovers. He's more recently played for Ilkeston Town.

Striker Coulson scored against Stamford for EvoStik League side Brigg in the recent Lincs Senior Trophy Final and Lowe is described by Collins at "the best defender in the area by a long way".

The Poachers boss says the new arrivals at "big signings for the club and real quality players". He's also hoping to secure two more newcomers this week.
