Hall of Fame No. 3

Long-serving striker joins our Hall of Fame marking the club's 50th anniversary

Graham Neal (Striker 1981-2002)

Few players have managed a career spanning longer than that of Graham "Nammy" Neal.

The diminutive striker first turned out in Boston FC colours  in 1981 when Bob Don-Duncan blooded a number of youngsters because of injuries to senior players.

Fast forward more than two decades and Nammy was still banging in the goals for the Poachers - right up to December 2002.

In the late 1990s, following the departure of Carl Smaller, he formed particularly fruitful partnerships with Dave Scotney and Ian Shooter.

He hit double figures in four separate seasons, scoring 57 goals in all for the club and clocking up nearly 200 appearances.

Nammy was a key player in Town's last UCL championship triumph, playing in 34 of their 40 league games in 2000-01.

Debut: 5 Dec 1981 Appleby-Frodingham (A) 0-1
