Kris Jones `on road to recovery`

Sleaford Town boss comes out of coma

Sleaford Town have voiced their gratitude for the many messages of support for their manager Kris Jones.

He has now come out of a coma following a car crash in August which left him critically injured.

Kris previously played for Boston Town, making 44 appearances for the club between 2002 and 2005.

Sleaford Town said: “His condition remains very serious and he is still very poorly but we are hopeful this is a significant step on the long road to recovery and reuniting him back at home with his family.

“Everyone at the club knows what a fighter Kris is and believe in his ability to overcome these challenges.

“Also we and his family would once again like to echo our thanks to the many messages of support that have been received. They really are a great help.”
