Tulips praise for Boston Town

Spalding grateful to Poachers over Matt Kennedy signing

Spalding United have praised Boston Town for allowing them to sign Matt Kennedy.

Kennedy is following Jordan Nuttell to the Northern Premier League side, as revealed on www.bostontownfc.co.uk last night.

Tulips boss Pat Rayment told the Spalding Voice: "I would like to place on record my thanks to Dan Barrett at Boston Town for allowing us to do the deal.

“Obviously having already signed Jordan, we would usually have had to wait a while to approach another Boston player. But they’ve been different class."

Kennedy and Nuttell had scored 15 goals between them this season for the Poachers.

But Barrett has already moved to strengthen his squad with the capture of Renzie Lobendahn and the return of Shane Clancy.
