Poachers aim for seven unbeaten

Town's league form is best for four and a half years

It's four and a half years since Boston Town had a better league run than the one they're currently enjoying.

The Poachers are unbeaten in six United Counties League games since the end of October.

They have had similar sequences in recent seasons - including six games without defeat last November and December beginning with a league cup success over Burton Park Wanderers.

Victory over Sleaford on Boxing Day 2012 kicked off a run of six unbeaten league matches.

And in January and February 2011, Town managed to go seven undefeated - but again, one of those was in the league cup.

The last time Boston went better than Dan Barrett's current sequence of six unbeaten games in the UCL was in 2009-10 when they went eight in a row without losing:

23-Mar Stewart & Lloyds Corby  H 1-1
27-Mar Newport Pagnell  H 2-0
5-Apr Holbeach  A 1 1
7-Apr St Ives  A 1-0
10-Apr Rothwell  A 1-0
13-Apr Stotfold  A 1-0
17-Apr Daventry Utd  A 2-0
24-Apr St Ives  H 3-0

On Saturday (29 November), Boston face a tought task to extend their run when they entertain high-flying Yaxley.
