Former Poachers striker flies out to earthquake zone

Former Boston Town striker Garry Goddard is heading for Nepal to help earthquake victims.

His Lincoln-based charity Lincs2Nepal is taking bags of clothes and money as part of aid efforts, reports ITV.com.

Garry played for the Poachers in the late 1980s as part of Bill Brindley's Central Midlands League title-winning side.

The former bricklayer set up Lincs2Nepal after visiting the country in 2007.

He and his colleague Leo Scott Smith are now heading for the disaster zone afer the charity received an anonymous donation of £10,000.
