Jack is back!

Town received a welcome boost today on the eve of the 2015-16  ChromaSport United Counties League season with the news that midfield threat Jack Wightwick had re-signed for the club.

The flying winger tormented a host of Premier Division defences last season and amassed an impressive tally of 9 goals from 25 league and cup appearances.

Wightwick's arrival is another key addition to what is shaping up to be an impressivelooking squad in manager Mark Angel's debut season in charge of the Poachers.

Town kick off their campaign at home this Saturday at the DWB Stadium, kick off 3pm, when they entertain their namesakes as far as nicknames go, the Poachers from Oadby Town.

Another home fixture follows in quick succession on Tuesday evening when Harrowby United are the visitors.

Town begin their Emirates FA Cup campaign a week on Saturday (August 15th) with a tough-looking tie away at their local rivals, Deeping Ran gers.
