Boston Town 4, S&L Corby 3

Poachers earn dramatic league cup win

Boston Town booked their place in the next round of the United Counties League Cup - but not before throwing away a three-goal for the second week in a row.
Early goals by Jack Wightwick, Jordan Nuttell and Richard Ford seemed to have put the hosts comfortably on course for victory.
But Corby grew in confidence after the interval and pulled it back to 3-3.
Wightwick calmed the home fans' nerves early in extra-time by making it 4-3 and the Poachers - who gave on former Sleaford wide man Ryan Parnell as a substitute for his debut - hung on for the win.

Here's how the action unfolded:

The final whistle goes and Boston Town are through after another afternoon of drama!
Half-time in extra time - The Poachers have another 15 minutes to hang on
4-3 - Top scorer JACK WIGHTWICK edges the home side back in front!
Extra time being played

3-3 - Unbelievably, Town have thrown away a 3-0 lead for the second Saturday running
3-2 - Corby reduce the deficit with a second goal. Surely it's not going to happen again!
3-1 - We're underway again and the visitors pull one back. Boston desperately need to avoid a repeat of last week...
HALF-TIME - Boston Town 3, S&L Corby 0
And there's the whistle for half-time - the Poachers looking good for a place in the next round of the league cup. But remember, we were also 3-0 up last week, only to lose 4-3!
23 mins - And it's 3-0 thanks to a RICHARD FORD header
16 mins  - JORDAN NUTTELL doubles Town's advantage!
7 mins - An early strike, just what the Poachers needed as JACK WIGHTWICK marks his return to the side by making it 1-0

Town: Doughty, Fleming, Parker, Ford (Parnell), Ashton, Wood (Field), Eyett, Lambley (Moore-Papworth), Beck, Nuttell, Wightwick.
