Poachers in league cup action

New signings for Boston Town as they entertain Harrowby

New faces could be on show tonight (Wed 31 August) as Boston Town take on Harrowby at home in the United Counties League Cup.

Several new players have been brought on board following the departure of Nathan Collins last week.

Midfielder Jamie Elston returns for a third spell at the club.

And strikers Jenson Ball and Curtis Revell both made their debuts away at Wellingborough on Saturday.

Ball scored earlier this month for Boston United’s youth team in a 4-3 defeat against a strong Liverpool Under 18s side which included highly-rated former Barcelona starlet Juanma.
Meanwhile, Revell has scored five goals in four games for Wyberton in the Lincs League so far this season.
Striker Danny Trott has already left Boston after agreeing to move to Grimsby Borough but caretaker manager Lori Borbely says most of the squad have committed to the club and will be rolling up their sleeves to start moving up the United Coutnies League table.
Tonight's game at the DWB Stadium kicks off at 7.45pm, with the winners at home to Holbeach in the 2nd Round.
