Boston Town's long-serving Lori Borbely could miss the rest of the season with injury.
The experienced midfielder suffered a fractured ankle in last night's county cup semi-final defeat at Deeping Rangers.
Lori, who recently became only the fourth player in the club's history to reach the landmark of 400 appearances for the Poachers, was due to see a consultant today.
He had already missed chunks of the season with injury and his latest absence is a further blow to manager Gary Frost as he tries to steer Boston clear of the relegation zone.
A win and two draws in their last three league games have seen Town move four points clear of the bottom two. But they need to keep that momentum going with a home game against Kirby Muxloe on Saturday.
