Poachers entertain runaway leaders

Gary Frost's side face Peterborough Sports on Saturday

Having disposed of whipping boys Huntingdon last weekend, Boston Town's next challenge is at the very opposite end of the spectrum.

On Saturday (25 March) they entertain runaway leaders Peterborough Sports, who are 12 points clear at the top of the United Counties League Premier Division with a game in hand over second-placed Deeping.

They need just seven more points from their final seven games to clinch a second consecutive title, having been champions of Division One last season.

It's been a remarkable couple of years for Sports, who have swept aside allcomers after signing a string of top quality players including Josh Moreman and ex-Boston United pair Mark and Richard Jones.

The Poachers are in buoyant mood after winning four of their last six league games. But those four victories have all been away and manager Gary Frost will be keen to put on a good show for home fans.

Kick off on Saturday at the DWB Stadium is 3pm - please come along and support your local team!
