John Rose has been honoured as one of Boston Town's most loyal servants.
Further tributes were paid to him at his funeral which was held yesterday at Boston Crematorium.
John died at Pilgrim Hospital earlier this month aged 67.
Poachers chairman Mick Vines said the funeral was very well attended and had been a moving send-off.
John had been a director, secretary and vice-chairman at different times over three decades.
Donations in memory of John can be made to Lincolnshire Co-operative Funeral Service, 5 South Square, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 6HX. These will be given to a charity chosen by hi family.
