Poachers thump bottom markers

S&L Corby 0, Boston Town 4

Boston Town picked up their first away league win of the season against struggling S&L Corby.

Veteran Daryl Clare bagged two, with Lori Borbely and young Sam Loughran grabbing one apiece.

Boss Nathan Collins handed debuts to his two new signings Craig Mitchell and Laurence McKay - and there was also a return to the side for veteran defender Shaun Baker, his first appearance for Boston since April 2012.

Clare had been playing in midfield but has been pushed back up front since the departure of leading scorer Josh Ford.

He's now scored five goals in 15 appearances since joining the Poachers in November.

Borbely is now the leading scorer this season other than the departed Ford with six to his name. Loughran has notched two in four games in an impressive start to his Tattershall Road career.

Town: Drury, Lambley, Jackson, Nuttell, Baker, Mitchell (Loughran), Borbely, Goodhand, Clare, Wattam (Hobson), McKay (Woods)
