Bonfire 'was our best ever'
Boston Town chairman Mick Vines hailed last night's Bonfire Night event as the best ever held at the club.
Around 1,000 people turned out to watch the spectacular fireworks display on the traditional Guy Fawkes Night date of the 5th of November.
Mr Vines said he and the directors were delighted with the turn-out and very grateful to all the people who had made the event a success.
"All the volunteers - from gate man, car park attendants, stewards and the barbecue staff - need a big thank you for making the night go so smoothly," he said.
Club officials hope some of last night's revellers will come again to the DWB Stadium.
This Saturday, the Poachers have an attractive home fixture against league leaders Daventry Town, kick-off 3pm.
