Hat-trick hero Will Britton guides Poachers to three points
Will Britton bagged his first Boston Town hat-trick to spearhead a rousing fightback.
Having been beaten 5-1 at home by Daventry Town the previous week, the Poachers found themselves trailing again after 24 minutes.
But Britton levelled after 41 minutes - and Daventry keeper Ant O'Connor had to be at his best to prevent a point blank Jordan Nuttell header from giving the visitors an interval lead.
Harry Payne tipped a Jack Dumbleton shot over the bar early in the second half before OCpnnor was again called into action to palm along-range Aaron Eyett effort around the post.
A fine run and finish by Britton gave Boston a 2-1 advantage after 72 minutes and Nuttell again came close to settling it as O'Connor saved with his legs.
But Britton sealed the points - and claimed the match ball as he nabbed his third in the 90th minute.
His tally is now up to 12 - that's already more than the 11 managed by last season's top scorer Curtis Revell.
