Poachers secure safety
Gary Frost's side celebrated survival in style with a famous derby triumph.
Harrowby's 5-0 defeat against ON Chenecks meant the Poachers would have been safe from finishing in the bottom two anyway - but this was a victory to savour.
Town dominated the first half against high-riding Holbeach, who have so often been their nemesis in recent times.
Danny Maddison (pictured, inset) scored direct from a free-kick on 18 minutes after Aaron Eyett was upended in a dangerous position.
Holbeach levelled with an unfortunate own goal seven minutes later but a double blast by Jordan Nuttell (main picture) saw Boston firmly back in control with a 3-1 half-time lead.
After the break Curtis Revell was flagged offside to deny him a goal that would have made it 4-1 - but then Holbeach pulled one back through Ford after 73 minutes.
And with just eight minutes left, Dougill looked to have snatched a point when he made it 3-3.
However, there was one more twist as Boston were awarded an 89th minute penalty which Maddison converted to seal all three points and lift them back above Oadby in the table.
Holbeach - who had gone five games unbeaten - endured further misery when Madigan was also sent off for a second yellow card.
