Poachers to face St Andrews FC in 2017-18

Boston Town will have surprise new opponents in the United Counties League Premier Division next season.

St Andrews FC have switched from the Midland League, where they finished 9th last term.

The Leicester-based club only formed in 1973 and and reached the semi-final of the FA Vase in the 2013–14 season.

With Peterborough Sports promoted and Huntingdon and Harrowby relegated, the UCL top flight will again feature 22 sides in 2017-18. Daventry Town and Wellingborough Whitworths have been promoted. Another interesting addition sees Pinchbeck joining the UCL Dvision One.

The make-up of the league will be confirmed at the league's AGM on 21 June at Yaxley.
